Are you feeling stuck right now? Perhaps youβve reached a point where it is a struggle just to keep βgetting byβ day-to-day. You may be grasping for change, but out of ideas of how to make it happen. When youβre caught in the tides of distress, suffering, and hopelessness, it can be difficult to see a way forward. I am glad you are in the process of looking for the support you need at this time. If you are seeking to learn practical skills that can empower you to better manage your challenges in the short and long-term, my approach to therapy will be a good match.
I enjoy helping clients move toward observable changes that align with their personal therapy goals, whether that be straightforward symptom reduction or broader quality of life improvements. In sessions, you'll be met with a compassionate listener who has a genuine desire to understand your inner world. I offer treatment guided by your strengths and values.
Whatever it is that led you here, I am glad you are taking the next step to getting the help you deserve. I'd love to connect and help you overcome the obstacles that are getting in the way of living the life you are after.

I specialize in working with anxiety of all flavors (including generalized, social, and health anxiety), OCD, depression, phobias, and insomnia. I focus on evidence-based treatments and I am passionate about using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) approaches to support clients. I received my Masterβs in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Asheville, North Carolina. I provide outpatient counseling services to adult clients age 18+ with a wide range of presenting concerns.
Empathetic, down-to-earth, straightforward, genuine, caring, and thorough are common traits that clients have used to describe me as a therapist. I will be your advocate throughout your therapy, which means sometimes I will encourage you to challenge yourself in ways that align with your values. I aim to create a space that fosters insight and self-exploration, and where you can feel validated, seen, and heard.
